Vintage Thank-You Card with Altenew Stamp Set

Today I used the Vintage Roses Add-On stamp set to create a vintage-inspired thank-you card.

When I first purchased the Vintage Roses add-on stamp set by Altenew, I intended to use the stamps on the inside of my cards. However the design of this stamp is so timeless and pretty that I decided to use it for the background of this card. I started by stamping the two coordinating stamps in a diagonal pattern.

Next, I embossed the “Thank You” sentiment on a piece of kraft paper that I had cut out, using a banner die cut.

I also chose to emboss one of my floral stamps, as a fun accent. I actually mixed a little bit of platinum embossing powder with clear embossing powder when embossing this design. My picture doesn’t do the embossed deign any justice, but I find that mixing metallic and clear embossing powders together creates a unique, sparkly effect.

I then put the background and sentiment together, on a kraft paper card. I think the final result is great for those with a rustic or vintage style.
